GuardTune EULA

License agreement

This End User License Agreement governs installation and use of the GuardTune Windows application. By installing, activating or using GuardTune, you agree to this agreement.

License grant

Subject to your applicable trial or paid entitlement, GuardTune grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use GuardTune on the number of Windows devices permitted by your plan. GuardTune is licensed, not sold.

Trial license

A trial license provides temporary access to eligible GuardTune functionality for the stated trial period. Trial eligibility and expiry may be validated using GuardTune's licensing servers. Uninstalling or reinstalling GuardTune does not create a new trial entitlement.

Paid license

A paid license remains valid for the applicable subscription or license period, subject to successful payment, device limits and compliance with this agreement. Activation may require internet access.

Restrictions

You may not copy, redistribute, sublicense, rent, sell or commercially redistribute GuardTune except where GuardTune expressly authorizes it. You may not bypass activation, licensing, trial expiry, entitlement checks, security verification or device restrictions. You may not modify or attempt to derive GuardTune source code except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

Security and system operations

GuardTune may inspect files, system settings, startup entries, installed software, driver information, temporary files and other local system information required to provide its features. GuardTune may quarantine files identified by supported detection mechanisms.

Where GuardTune offers cleanup, startup-management, uninstall or optimization functions, the application is designed to provide review and confirmation before potentially significant changes. You should maintain backups of important information.

Updates

GuardTune may periodically check for updates. Updates may contain security fixes, compatibility improvements, feature changes and licensing components.

Beta releases

Beta or Preview versions are provided for evaluation and may contain defects, incomplete features or compatibility issues. The current GuardTune antivirus layer is a limited foundation release while broader malware detection and behavioral protection are developed. Do not rely on a Beta release as the sole means of protecting critical systems or data.

No absolute security guarantee

GuardTune cannot guarantee that every malicious file, cyberattack, vulnerability, unwanted application or security threat will be detected or prevented. No security product provides complete protection in every circumstance.

Termination

This license ends if your entitlement expires or if you materially violate this agreement. On termination, features requiring an active entitlement may become unavailable. Access to functions required for safe management of previously quarantined files should remain available where technically supported.

Consumer rights

Nothing in this EULA excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
